Acadia University

The Acadia Athletic Complex sports world class facilities including; squash courts, racquetball courts, an Olympic size swim pool, a full size gymnasium, a state of the ark turf field and regulation size rugby and soccer fields. Acadia is nestled in the quaint town of Wolfville.

 

Martock

Martock boasts seven downhill machine groomed trails as well as 5.5 km of cross country trails. Skill ranges on the slopes go from expert to beginner. Martock also has an on site Cleve’s ski shop and repair and waxing services. Facilities include full food service and a lounge.

 

CFB Greenwood

CFB Greenwood began as a training station for WW1 pilots, now it is a thriving community. CFB Greenwood features a full size ice surface, 3 regulation size squash courts, a pool, a fully equipped weight room with exercise machines as well as a gymnasium.

 

Kentville Memorial Park

The Kentville Memorial park is used yearly for prestigious events such as the Apple Blossom Festivities. The park is home to; outdoor tennis courts, basketball courts, baseball fields, a pool, and soccer fields. The park also recently constructed the Valley Sport and Multi- Purpose Facility, which contains an indoor multi-purpose field and 2 regulation size squash courts.

 

Lifeplex Wellness Centre

The Lifeplex Wellness Center is located in the community of Cornwallis. The center is home to a wealth of cardio equipment and weights. It also has a 4 lane lap pool as well as a very large indoor walking track and a fitness studio.

 

Hants County Exhibition Park

First established in 1765, the Windsor/Hants County Exhibition is the oldest continuously run agricultural fair in North America. Historically the property was developed and continues to be maintained by the Windsor Agricultural Society for the primary purpose of hosting of an agricultural exhibition to promote agricultural awareness. Over the years the exhibition has evolved in a manner that has developed the assets, improved the site and been successful in fulfilling the society’s goal of hosting an annual exhibition event for the region..
